Here are two arpeggio exercises in the key of C along with the patterns from which to access the lines.
The II-V-I progression is the most important progression in jazz.
Memorize each exercise and then drill them in every key using the Key Circle for the order of keys.
E.g. the next key would be the key of F. That progression would be:
G-7 C7 Fmaj7
The next key would be the key of Bb. That progression would be:
C-7 F7 Bbmaj7
And so on.
The second example starts on the 3rd of the arpeggio but is visualized from the 6th string root even though that root is not played.
